How much will it cost to build my website?

Great question, and the simple answer is it depends on what you want or need for your site.  RPG will build your theme based websites using the WordPress CMS platform and we do this for small businesses who don’t have a lot of money to spend on a website but they want a beautiful, fully functional website for their business.

We do this because we discovered that websites have a shelf life and after four or five years you’re probably going to need a new website so you don’t want to spend a great deal of money on a “custom built” website that you more than likely don’t even need.

RPG has built websites in the past for plumbers, home builders, vacation rental properties, electricians, car mechanics, excavators, pet care clinics as well as e-commerce customers and service industry clients.  If you fall into a small business category then RPG is a strong options for you as we can do all the things a large expensive firm can do with minimal costs.  (Check out the home page for some of the recent and long term clients we work with.)

Theme based websites include all the tools and plugins necessary to build the site to your specifications.  Some themes are better then others but the options to choose a theme are endless.

Buying a theme website will cost you around $100 but building your site around that theme can cost you around $3,000 – $6,000.  On average it takes about 120 hours of work to build a theme site.  RPG has built many sites over the years and 120 hours is the average time for a theme based website.

Do I need someone to manage my website?

The correct answer is no but the smart answer is yes, you do.  Whether you use your own staff or you use RPG someone needs to keep track of what’s going on with your website. Technology over the years has become complicated and very technical and keeping up with the changes is very time consuming and your staff really needs to be technically davy.  If they are that’s great but if they’re not then you need RPG.  Find problems with your site is one thing but knowing how to fix them is another.

How will RPG help me with my site for a fee?

Yes and the fee depends on what services you want managed.  Do you need blog articles written? Do you need or want graphic design services for flyers or brochures?  Do you run ads in magazines and need the ads created?  RPG can do all of that.

RPG will manage your site and all that surrounds its growth, marketing, images, blog writing, Google analytics, website changes, upgrades, etc.  Managing a website is time consuming and can be difficult at times and doing it well is our job.

Browsers update all the time and when they do, sometimes the changes they make will cause the site some problems that will need to be fixed.  Knowing how to fix them is where we come in.

How many extra visitors will my website get?

That depends on how aggressive you are with your marketing and budget for driving future customers to your site.  The more aggressive you are the better the traffic and conversion you will receive.  However, you have to decide how you define “traffic and conversion”.  What does that mean to you?  If you’re an e-commerce website conversion is important but if you’re not then driving people to the contact us page or the phone is important to you.

Obtaining new customers is having the ability to tell a story that’s compelling to your audiance  with a headline or an opening line to win their attention.  If you approach your subject from an interesting angle.

Do blog articles help the site?

Yes!  And, adding videos to your site will also help generate traffic to your site.

Blogging is all about original and relevant content you add to your site to show the world that you are important.  Relevance is the important word here and this is a Google lesson that will show results quickly.

The main purpose of Google is to give the best and most relevant search results possible to its customers.  When you blog and provide excellent and relevant information Google will love you for it and therefore direct search traffic to your site.

Will I be able to understanding my websites analytics?

That’s a great question.  And the simple answer is yes, with a “but” attached to it.  In all honesty website analytics is not an easy topic to explain or to understand if you’re not interested in crazy metrics and knowing how to read the data.  It’s complicated.

Your website will have a Google Analytics code placed in every page of your site but knowing and understanding what all your data is telling you is a completely different matter.  Over time you will learn what the data means but if you need help we’re happy to go over all the important information the analytics is providing.

But here’s the downside.  If you’re busy running your business then you will have little time, if any, learning what Google analytics is telling you.

Is my new website easy to manage?

Yes!  If you choose to manage the new site yourself you will be trained in how to write blogs and manage the content, upload images, etc.  But with todays rapidly changing technology building the site and then never touching again will not give you satisfactory results.   Websites need to be touched all the time.  Pages need to be updated, plugins needs to be updated and content needs to be written.  Site maps need top be submitted and the list goes on and on.

The more you work your site the better your results will be,  If you don’t have the time for website maintenance you RPG can manage all the necessary and required updates.  We can even write your blogs as we have written thousands of blogs for various industries.

What does Responsive Design mean?

Responsive design means that your website will adjust to the size of the screen you’re viewing it on making your site mobile friendly.  Today, more then half of Internet traffic is done on a mobile and there are dozens of phones and tablets that are all connected to the Internet and each with a different screen size.  Your website will adjust to those different sizes to make viewing your site a great experience.
